Nicknamed the “The Glen”, watkins glen international is one of the countries most historic race tracks. Situated around the southern portion of Seneca Lake close to Watkins Glen, New York the track was long recognized throughout the world as the main track of the U.S. Grand Prix but for nearly 50 yrs the glen has hosted just about every type of racing imaginable.
Celebrating its 60th Anniversary, 2008 marks the remembrance of the very first race ever held at the Watkins Glen race course. Also this year a new state of the art media center will be finished in, as well as, two more pit boxes being added bringing the total on pit road to 43.
