Sometimes called sprewell racing rims and also known by the name “Sprewells” these rims rose to popularity when NBA player Latrell Sprewell became one of the first celebrities to purchase the wheels and through his company, Sprewell Racing, he began retailing the spinning rims for the parent company Davin Wheels. Sprewell Racing is not affiliated with the company directly and plays no part in designing any of the Davin product line.
Davin Fowlkes actually first design the wheel in 1990 while in college and currently his company holds the patent (U.S. Patent 6,554,370 issued April 29, 2003) for the spinning technology, called the continuous motion wheel and in addition to the spinners Davin Wheels also offers a wide variety of Luxury Car wheels, Truck wheels and SUV wheels. As you can see his designs are high end classy and classic.
