Lewis Hamilton doesn’t finish at The Canadian Grand Prix
Lewis Hamilton doesn’t finish at The Canadian Grand Prix even though he claimed the pole position for Team McLaren in the start of the 70-lap race, which of course had him smiling before the beginning of this Sunday’s race. Despite the crumbling surface and overall bad condition of the Montreal race course, whom if you had ask many would of said the poor quality of the road would be a factor in this race, however it was not the road condition that did in car #22 rather maybe a lack of focus.
Hamilton had an unfortunate ending at The Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. Last year he got his first F1 victory in this race beating Nick Heidfeld to the checkered flag, but it wouldn’t be the case this year. While trying to exit pit lane it appears Hamilton did not recognize the red light change at the end of pit lane and he smacked into the back of end of Kimi Raikkonen driver of car #1 from the Team Ferrari. A costly mistake that may have caused him to loose his top ranking for the moment, but it’s still a lot of racing left in the 2007-2008 season and it just makes things more intriguing for F1 fans.
Robert Kubica, native of Poland and the driver of car #4 brought home the win this year for Team BMW.
