Nascars Jimmie Johnson Is An Iconic Figure In Stock Car Racing

By winning  Three Consecutive Nascar Sprint Cup Championships there is no denying the jimmie johnson icon or the iconic legacy he will leave on racing history.  The story of Jimmie Johnson’s has barely gotten out of the early chapters and is already reading like a novel depicting the life of one mild mannered guy who evolves to perform some super human heroic feat in the midst of great danger.  Full of platitudes, this statement may appear a tad bit over dramatic but I think it may actually be pretty darn factually correct in describing #48.

Here is why, he is only 34yrs old so he has plenty of years left to win more races.  From the time he signed on with Hendrick Motorsports, about 7yrs ago, he has went about becoming a great driver while doing it under the shadow that drivers like teammate Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. have cast due to there towering popularity.

Every weekend he is racing the No.48 Chevrolet at speeds in excess of 180 mph with life threatening danger awaiting every turn and yet in seven short years he has managed to always rank in the Top 5, finished second in points two of the times and has taken home 3 Nascar Titles to go along with a personality and image that exemplifies everything Nascar wants its series to be to its fans.  A great Ambassador of Nascar Jimmie Kenneth Johnson is, at least we here at RaceFan365 think so!
