That’s right Jenson Button Wins 2nd Consecutive Formula 1 Race at the Sepang International Circuit making this  his 3rd career F1 win overall.  The British born F1 driver is definitely deserving of this early success considering he has spent the last 8 or so years driving for several different teams, including BMW and Honda, yet through those years he was never really a serious threat to win a Formula One World Championship.

But what a difference joining the Brawn-Mercedes Team has made with two wins and currently leading the driver standings and his team the constructor standings.  The race itself, 2009 Malaysian Grand Prix, fell victim too torrential rains and was cut short after 31 laps handing the 28yr. old Jenson Button the victory.  Who knows how far he will take this winning streak, but don’t be surprised if Jenson is still a top the standings as we come down to the seasons end.

Why? Because he has years of experience and more importantly a Mercedes Benz constructed race car that is as good as any open wheel on the circuit, everything a formula one driver needs to be CHAMP!!!
